How To Be More Productive Without Trying

Being productive is like training, there is no in-between.

Either you train or not. So if you want to be more productive you need to start doing things, not trying to do things.

So if the thing you want to do is too big to do on a day, break it down into smaller goals that are easier to finish on a month or day. In that way, you'll see that you take steps toward the finish line and it'll be a lot easier to manage.

Here are some steps you can do to get things done:

Step 1: Take the goal that you want to do, be, or get.

Step 2: Make a 1 to 6 steps plan (depending on how big your goal is.) The first step will be your first monthly goal. The plan can change (will explain more below).

Step 3: Start NOW! What are 1 to 3 things you can do today to get closer or finish your monthly goal today?

Step 4. Repeat the necessary steps until you finish your goal. In this way, you'll probably reach your goal even faster with this method. If you don't want to do this more easily, check out The Do List: the analog tool for the digital culture.

As I said in step 2, the plan can change. So change the plan to reach your goal, not the goal itself. And here's another tip for you who wants to be, do or get something, start now, be consistent, and have patience! I have failed this several times, but that's also because my motivation has changed for things.

So really think and feel if you want to do somethings before deciding one over another. If you can't choose, then toss a coin and start! Then stay consistent and have patience.
